With In Rainbows having debuted today at #1 on the U.S. charts, RADIOHEAD has confirmed the cities to be visited on the band’s upcoming North American tour.

The tour will take place in two segments, one prior to and one following the recently announced summer tour of the UK and Europe.

Update 2: Radiohead Tour 2008

For all the English, Scottish and dutch Radiohead fans the dates for Amsterdam, Glasgow, London and Manchester have been announced. While the Amsterdam gig on the first of July in the Westerpark Area is officially confirmed on http://www.radiohead.com/tourdates, the British Isles gigs were put online via the gigwise.co.uk homepage and their flash-advertisements on nme.com. According to them, Radiohead will play London’s Victoria Park on the 24th and 25th of June, with the next stop being the Glasgow Green on the 27th of June and the jaunt ends (so far) on the 29th in Manchester’s Lancashire County Cricket Ground.

So, still no signs of the definite date for Barcelona or the US-dates in May, for which tickets will not be available before Christmas; as read on ateaseweb.com.

Update: Now the British dates have been confirmed on radiohead.com as has the Dublin gig. Latter will take place on the seventh of June 2008 at the Malahide.

Update: Laut tickets.de kosten die Karten 40 Euro, der W.A.S.T.E-Vorverkauf startet demnach am 5. Dezember und der offizielle am 8. Dezember 2007.

Radiohead Tour 2008

Radiohead haben mehr Tourdaten für 2008 bestätigt.

Im Juni 2008 gibt es zunächst zwei nicht näher genannte Dates in Dublin (Irland), ebenfalls zwei in Paris (Frankreich), einen Auftritt beim Daydream Festival in Barcelona (Spanien) und zwei Termine in Nimes (Frankreich). Am 18. Juni tritt die Band in der Civic Arena in Mailand (Italien) auf, bevor am 20. Juni das Hurricane und am 22. das Southside in Scheeßel, bzw. Neuhausen ob Eck (in Deutschland) anstehen. Es folgen zwei Londontermine, ein Gig in Glasgow und einer in Manchester (alles United Kingdom).

Im Juli geht dem heute morgen bereits angekündigten Termin beim Roskilde Festival (Dänemark) und einem Auftritt beim Werchter Festival (Belgien) ein Konzert in Amsterdam (Niederlande) voraus. Nachfolgend steht noch Berlin an.

Tickets für Mailand, Hurricane und Southside werden via dem Radiohead eigenen Waste-Shop bereits angeboten.
